Officers investigating a report of racially aggravated incident in Southsea are appealing for witnesses and information. It was reported to us on Tuesday 9 December that a video has been circulating on social media platforms which appears to show a man being racially abusive towards another man and threatening him with a knife. We had not previously received a report about this incident. We currently believe this incident took place on Stanley Street on Sunday 7 December. Officers are carrying out enquiries, and have been reviewing the footage and CCTV in the area, to identify the men in the video and to establish the full circumstances.
